That’s why we’ve created our own Baseline Banned List, a list of 18 harmful ingredients that are prohibited by terra20. You will NEVER see any products in our store that contain one or more of these harmful ingredients:
Avobenzone, BHA/BHT, BPA, Cyclopentasiloxane, Coal tar dyes, DEA-related ingredients, Dibutyl Phthalate, Formaldehyde-Releasing Preservatives, Lead, Non Biodegradable Glitters/Lusters, Octinoxate, Oxybenzone, Paraben/Methylparaben/Butylparaben/Polyparaben, PEGs, Petroleum Derived Products, Phthalate-Based Fragrance, Sodium Laureth/Lauryl Sulfate, Triclosan.
We've also gone one step further and created this Free of Harmful Chemicals Ethic icon for products that are free from ingredients in the baseline banned list, as well as an additional 13 more that we believe may be harmful to human health and the environment:
