By signing up for the Clean Start Program, you agree to terra20’s Clean Start Program terms and conditions outlined below.


How to enroll

Membership is free. To open a Clean Start Program account, guests can enroll online or at any terra20 retail store. Guests will be asked to provide a valid first and last name, mailing address, email address, child(ren) name(s) and birth date(s), including verifying your identity when required and which may include providing proof of a valid government-issued identification or proof of birth. There is a limit to one (1) enrollment per household, and only one (1) 15% birthday month discount will be issued per child per year. When enrolling in a terra20 retail store, guest will be given an information brochure which can be shared with friends. If enrolling online or via mobile app further details will be emailed to you. Members must identify themselves with every purchase with the same email address used to enroll in order for the purchases to be recorded in the system and to use their credits. A valid email address is also required to receive your annual in-store credit, which is sent on December 1st, 2018. If at any time your email becomes invalid, your account will be placed on hold pending receipt of updated information. Only one (1) terra20 Clean Start Program account and member ID per person is permitted at any given time. All communications about the Program, including Program fulfillment, will primarily be communicated by e-mail.

Please note: at this time year-end account credits are for in-store use only. If you reside outside Ottawa, Ontario and your primary shopping is done via we can provide you with an exclusive code for your year end credit to use on our online store. Applicants outside Ottawa, Ontario will be contacted upon sign-up to determine which method of credit is required.



The terra20 Clean Start Program is open to legal residents of Canada age eighteen (18) years and older who are parents or permanent legal guardians to a child or children aged 0 to 5 years, provide a valid email address, mailing address, and child(ren) birthday(s). Each child is eligible for only one monthly birthday discount per year. Employees and partners of terra20 are not eligible to participate. Membership automatically converts to our Registered Guest Rewards loyalty program on December 31st of the year your youngest child turns 5 years old. Proof of birth may be required during sign-up or at anytime during the program.


How to earn purchase credits

If you are shopping in a terra20 retail store, you earn purchase credits by giving your email (the same email you used to enroll) at checkout. If you are shopping online or by phone, be sure to provide your email address at checkout. If you do not know your email address at the time of purchase, you can later earn a purchase credit by presenting your receipt to a terra20 guest services representative within thirty (30) days of the purchase. Guest services is also available at 1-855-terra20 (837-7220) to assist you with obtaining credit for your purchase with receipt information. For the terra20 15% monthly birthday discount offer, you will receive a 15% discount during the month your child was born; birthday 5 years and under. If a purchased item is returned, the amount of the returned item will be deducted from your current account balance and any purchase credits that were earned in conjunction with that purchase but were not yet issued will be reversed.

You must reach or exceed the $200 minimum purchase balance before taxes from December 1st, 2017 to November 30th, 2018 of a calendar year to qualify for a 10% purchase credit from December 1st, 2018 to January 31st, 2019. If your purchases reach or exceed $400 before taxes, your purchase credit will be 15% of your total purchases between December 1st, 2017 and November 30th, 2018. Your purchase credit expires sixty-one (61) days after it is issued and therefore must be made on or by January 31st, 2019 at 11:59pm ET.


Qualifying purchases

Qualifying merchandise is any product and/or service in our retail stores and online except: gift cards, credit, sales tax and purchases made prior to the date of enrollment. Purchases made with year-end credits do not count toward the purchase credit.

You will start earning purchase credits for purchases made on your terra20 Clean Start Program email the day you sign up.


How to obtain and use rewards

Once you have reached the $200 minimum, you may redeem your purchase credits from December 1st, 2018 to January 31st, 2019. You may use your purchase credits at any terra20 retail location. Purchase credits are not redeemable for gift cards, and are not redeemable for cash unless otherwise required by law. No amount of your purchase credits may be applied as payment to any credit account. terra20 reserves the right to cancel all programs and accounts at any time.


Expiration of balances and rewards

You earn purchase credits from December 1st, 2017 through November 30th, 2018. If you do not reach the minimum $200 spending requirement by November 30th, your account balance will be reset to $0. Accounts with a balance of over $200 are eligible for a 10% purchase credit on qualified purchases, and a 15% purchase credit if balance exceeds $400. After issuance of purchase credit notifications by email, account balances will be reset to $0. All terra20 purchases made as of December 1st, 2018 will be applied to that calendar year’s purchases. 


Limitations of liability

terra20, Green Made Easy Inc., its directors, officers, employees, shareholders, invitees, and its partners, affiliates, subsidiaries, parent corporations and their respective agents and agencies (“Releasees”) are not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription of information, for problems related to any of the equipment or programming associated with The Clean Start Program, for any human error, for any interruption, deletion, omission, defect, or line failure of any telephone network or electronic transmission, for problems relating to computer equipment, software, inability to access the rules or online service, or for any other technical or non-technical error or malfunction. In the event of a printing error or problem with any items purchased with credits, Releasees shall not have any liability. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, NEGLIGENCE, SHALL ANY OF THE RELEASEES BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE CLEAN START PROGRAM, OR MERCHANDISE PURCHASED WITH CREDITS, EVEN IF ANY OR ALL OF THE FOREGOING OR ANY OF THEIR AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVES HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IF TERRA20 IMPROPERLY DENIES YOU ANY CREDITS, LIABILITY WILL BE LIMITED TO THE EQUIVALENT AMOUNT OF THE CREDIT OR $100, WHICHEVER IS LESS. BY PARTICIPATING IN THE CLEAN START PROGRAM, YOU ARE WAIVING ANY AND ALL RIGHTS TO BRING ANY CLAIMS, DEMANDS, DAMAGES, ACTIONS, LOSSES OR CAUSES OF ACTION WHICH YOU MAY HAVE AGAINST THE RELEASEES, ARISING IN ANY WAY WHATSOEVER, BY ANY REASON WHATSOEVER RELATED TO SUCH MATTERS BEYOND NINETY (90) DAYS AFTER THE FIRST OCCURRENCE OF THE KIND OF ACT, EVENT, CONDITION OR OMISSION UPON WHICH THE CLAIMS, DEMANDS, DAMAGES, ACTIONS, LOSSES OR CAUSES OF ACTION IS BASED. You agree to rely solely on the manufacturer’s warranties, if any, for any products purchased with The Clean Start purchase credits.


General terms and conditions

terra20 reserves the right to close your Clean Start Program account if you engage in any fraudulent activity or use The Clean Start Program in a manner inconsistent with these Terms and Conditions or any federal, province or local laws, statutes or ordinances. Discontinued membership may result in the loss of all credits earned but not yet issued and credits issued but not yet redeemed, including but not limited to credits earned from gift card offers. In addition to discontinued membership, terra20 shall have the right to take appropriate administrative and/or legal action, including criminal prosecution, as it deems necessary in its sole discretion, and you will not be permitted to participate in The Clean Start Program in the future.

You must remain subscribed to receive emails from terra20 in order to receive updates, changes, and credit notices in reference to your account. If you choose to unsubscribe from our mailing list we are not responsible for any notices or changes you were unaware of or did not receive.

terra20 reserves the right to revise or change the program rules at any time and without notice to you by posting updated text on this site.

terra20 reserves the right to make adjustments if reward credits are applied in error to your account. Credits are not your property and may be revoked by terra20 at any time as set forth herein. Credits may not be sold, transferred or assigned, as part of a domestic relations matter or otherwise by operation of law, and are not transferable upon death.

terra20 is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information supplied by you while participating in The Clean Start Program.

Your membership information will not be sold or rented to any company outside of terra20 and its affiliated companies.

A Clean Start Program account is deemed to be inactive if no purchases are made in connection with the account for six (6) consecutive months. Once an account is deemed to be inactive, all credits in the account may, in terra20’s sole discretion, be deemed to be forfeited by the member, with or without notice.

All questions or disputes regarding eligibility for The Clean Start Program, earning or redemption of rewards, or your compliance with these Terms and Conditions will be resolved by terra20 in its sole discretion.

These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between terra20 and you. They supersede all prior or other arrangements, understandings, negotiations and discussions, whether oral or written. No waiver of any of the provisions of these Terms and Conditions shall be deemed or shall constitute a waiver of any other provisions hereof, nor shall a waiver constitute a continuing waiver unless otherwise expressly provided.

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be severed from the remainder of these Terms and Conditions, which will otherwise remain in full force and effect.
