Miik is committed to being Canadian and works hard to be sustainable. They have their fabrics custom milled, knit, dyed, designed, and constructed right here in Canada, making Miik clothing 100% homegrown.
They use fabrics that have a low environmental impact, with sources like bamboo and beech trees. The fabrics are dyed using non-toxic dyes and their manufacturing partners have implemented water recycling processes meaning 95% of their production materials are recycled. Miik tries to minimize fabric waste by making scraps into scarves, stuffing for cushions and other accessories when they can.
Their designs are classic. They stick to pieces that will last in a wardrobe for years and can be reinvented into multiple outfits. Our Miik customers visit us again and again to add to their collections of responsible sustainable fashion. Oh, and a small detail not to be missed…they are completely female run. Bravo Miik.
