Two Vancouver-based parents launched CaaOcho in 2013 so they could create a line of 100% natural toys for modern babies. The couple had been working in the baby toy industry since 2008, after their baby girl arrived the year before and inspired them to provide her with better, safer, healthier options.
CaaOcho’s 100% natural rubber toys and teethers are sustainable, eco-friendly and certified non-toxic – perfect for parents, perfect for the planet. The company is also committed to responsible packaging practices. Products come in recyclable boxes that feature unique designs while using a minimal amount of ink.
Why We Love Them
In South American Indian languages, “caaocho” is the word for “rubber” and means “weeping wood.” We think that’s fitting; CaaOcho uses only natural rubber derived from milky latex sourced from harmlessly tapped Hevea rubber trees.
The process is sustainable and yields safe, waterproof products – a valuable combination for items that will end up in baby’s mouth or bathtub. On top of that, all CaaOcho bath toys are hermetically sealed to prevent mold growth and bacteria accumulation.
We’re wild about the fun shapes and sizes the toys and teethers come in. They offer a great sensory experience for youngsters, not to mention awesome support through all teething stages (which works out well for parents, too).
