This tinted SPF face cream is a must have in your makeup bag

It’s no secret that when it comes to skin care and my skin care routine, there are two key elements that I focus on. The first is moisturizer. I love it, I use it, and I recommend it. The second is SPF. Coincidentally, my moisturizer or my tinted face cream often has an SPF. These combination products make my daily routine so much easier.

Why does this matter so much to me? I know the importance of sunscreen to protect myself from harsh UV rays throughout the warmer months or when I travel, because not burning my skin is a priority for me. And because I do care about my skin care routine and need products that are effective and can be worn with my makeup. And while I like the Vitamin D the sun naturally gives me, I am cautious about getting too much sun. The products I use on my face matter.

thinksport Sunscreen SPF 50+

For my entire family, we use thinksport (or thinkbaby) sunscreen. I have openly chatted about their products for years and while I have tried many sunscreens over and over again, we still come back to thinksport.

It goes on smoothly and rubs in well, has a gentle scent and most importantly has proven effective for all of us.

thinksport Everyday Face SPF 30+

Because I trust and have been so happy with thinksport sunscreen for years (even when the kids were really little), I was beyond thrilled to discover they had a new product last year; their naturally tinted Everyday Face with SPF 30.

I’ve chatted about my beauty routine before (you can watch the video here) and you’ll notice it’s a fairly quick 5-10 minute process every day. I like having a few key face and makeup products to create my everyday look, but it’s definitely a fast makeup routine.

My final thoughts

The thinksport Everyday Face cream has an SPF 30 and wears well under my makeup. It leaves me with a bit of a dewy glow, without looking greasy (and I can mattify it further with a bit of powder if need be).

It smooths on nicely and feels extremely light; I don’t love feeling makeup caked on my face. It also works to protect my face against the sun’s rays, whether I’m at the park with the kids for an extended time, or just in and out all day.

Protecting yourself from a sunburn is so important; and I find this especially so on my face. I’m so happy to have a product that serves me in so many different ways like the thinksport Everyday Face.
